Tobi Ade

Tobi Ade is an engineer who designs cities—and a bobsledder who rockets down icy tracks at incredible speeds. Growing up, Tobi had a passion for sports, but he stayed focused on his education, earning a degree in civil engineering. In his final year of university, a knee injury from soccer could have set him back—but instead, he used it as motivation to train even harder. That determination paid off when he was discovered by RBC Training Ground, a talent identification program that led him to the sport of bobsleigh. Incredibly, he earned a spot on Team Canada’s World Championship team in his very first year. Today, Tobi is proving that with dedication and grit, it’s possible to chase big dreams—whether you’re on the track, in the classroom, or helping shape the cities of the future.
