Maddison Pearman is an Olympic long track speed skater born and raised in Ponoka, Alberta. Maddison started speed skating at age five, following the footsteps of her mom and older sister Brooke. In high school, Maddison competed at Canada Winter Games, and and was selected twice to represent Canada at Junior World Championships. Maddison has been a key member of Canada’s World Cup Team since 2021, securing an impressive five medals in the Team Sprint. Her stellar performances led her to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and several World Championships, where she showcased her incredible skills. The crowning achievement came in 2024 when Maddison won the title of World Champion in the Team Sprint!
