Jody Schloss

Jody is a three-time Paralympian who has competed with three different horses—Inspector Rebus in London, Lieutenant Lobin in Tokyo, and Captain El Colorado (nicknamed Denny) in Paris. A lifelong horse lover, Jody began riding as a child, but after sustaining a brain injury, riding took on a deeper meaning—becoming both physical and mental therapy. It helped rebuild confidence, strength, and resilience. In recent years, Jody has focused on Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL), using horses as intuitive partners in personal development. Through this work, they help others discover how their behavior and energy impact those around them—just as horses reflect it back with honesty and sensitivity.
