Daryl Homer

Daryl Homer is an American Olympic fencer specializing in the sabre discipline. He made history by becoming the first American to win a silver medal in sabre at the 2016 Rio Olympics and was also the first American to earn a World Championship medal in sabre at the 2015 World Championships in Moscow—both major milestones for U.S. fencing.A multiple-time national champion, Homer has also secured several podium finishes at World Cup events. Known for his aggressive and dynamic style, he has been a key figure in promoting the sport of fencing across the United States. Outside of competition, Homer is an advocate for the growth of fencing and uses his platform to inspire and mentor young athletes.
